Motion

your space. your pace. your joy.

Made in Detroit

A quiet place to land, built the way your brain actually works.

For autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexic, and other neurodivergent people.

Not therapy. Not a hotline.
A place to slow down, understand what you're feeling, and find support before overwhelm turns into crisis.

ilo, a rounded companion whose clear dome head holds a sunlit meadow. ilo, a rounded companion whose clear dome head holds a still lake under an aurora.
Meet ilo

It meets you where you are.

ilo standing. A small rounded figure in deep teal with a luminous dome head, calm teal eyes, and a glowing amber heart ringed in teal.

Flat, wired, fine, barely holding. Whatever kind of day you're having when you open NeuJoi, that's the starting point. No streaks to keep up with. Nothing to catch up on. No guilt when you disappear for a while.

ilo is a companion, not a coach or clinician. It stays steady, so you have something steady to borrow. It moves at your pace, not the other way around.

It does not have to be a character, either. Some days a face is one thing too many, so you can switch to a plain orb or a clear chat space with nothing looking back at you.

More about ilo, and what its head holds
What ships first

Small tools you can use in the middle of a real day.

GROUND helps you notice three things you can see, two you can feel, and one you can hear. It takes about 90 seconds and works without a signal.

Also in version one: mood check-ins, breathing pacers, Reflect, and Workday.

Workday is for the moments when your emotions are getting loud, but the reason underneath them is still hard to name.

GROUND Live can use your camera for an optional grounding activity when your head is too loud to look. Detection runs on your phone. No images uploaded. Nothing stored.

The people using NeuJoi help shape what comes next.

The NeuJoi tools list on a phone: At work, Breathe, Ground, Release, Think, Reflect, Reset. The Breathe pacer on a phone: a glowing circle with the cue Breathe in.

Pick a tool, or let ilo suggest one.

Designed for sensory safety

ND-safe by default, not buried in settings.

The NeuJoi check-in on a phone in light mode, asking what it is like right now. The same NeuJoi check-in on a phone in dark mode.

Switch the theme at the top of this page and this changes too.

Theme, motion, sound, and density are up front, not six taps down. You can set them before you commit to anything and change them whenever you need.

The controls at the top of this page are the real thing. Turn motion down and the page responds.

Safety and privacy

Real human support when it matters.

NeuJoi is wellness support. It is not therapy and not a replacement for medical care.

If something serious comes up, ilo pauses and points you to real people, including 988 and other crisis support options.

Trusted-person support is optional and always your choice. No transcripts. Nothing automatic.

We do not sell your data. For the full explanation, see Safety & Privacy.

Talking with ilo on a phone. A label above the conversation reads AI, not a therapist.

The label stays on screen the whole time.

"The wellness apps I tried were made for everyone, which usually meant nobody in particular. I'm building NeuJoi in Detroit, and I'd rather get it safe than rush it."
